  Alma Visscher   Alma Visscher is currently working on her MFA in Drawing & Intermedia at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. She has both delivered auto parts and exhibited throughout the lower mainland. Her work can be seen at:  
  Brian Rush   Brian Rush makes videos, performances, relational objects, and interactions that use humour and discomfort to investigate inhibitions, fruitful vulnerability, invitation, and authenticity. He lives in Portland, OR, and dislikes braggy bios.  
  Brigitte Lochhead   Brigitte Lochhead is an artist who currently lives in Vancouver. She studied at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, majoring in sculpture. Her work includes sculpting with wood, found objects and textiles.  
  Camilla d'Errico   Camilla d'Errico is known for her edgy, emotive, sexy low-brow paintings and manga influenced, west-meets-east comic style. Her work includes BURN, Avril Lavigne’s Make 5 Wishes, Sky Pirates of Neo Terra (game + comic), Angry Universe illustration for Neil Gaiman and Helmetgirls., Myspace, Behance, Deviantart, Twitter, Facebook  
  Caroline Weaver   Caroline Weaver is a self-taught artist who lives and works in Vancouver, BC.  
  Heidi Nagtegaal   Heidi Nagtegaal is a visual artist and director of the Hammock Residency. She lives and works in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
  Jenny Hawkinson   Jenny Hawkinson recently graduated from Trinity Western University with a BA in Visual Arts. She now lives in Vancouver and is learning the ropes of being a little artist in the big city. Her preferred styles range from painting and assemblage to guerrilla style public artwork.  
  Jessica Jang   Jessica Jang was born in Vancouver, BC. Jang's work negotiates the space between the classical canon of landscape painting and current environmental affairs. Much of her work relies on a methodology informed by experiential knowledge, memory, and imagination. She has exhibited within Canada and the United Kingdom.  
  Jim Boraas   Jim Boraas is Art Director at This Great Society. He has a BFA from Emily Carr University and works as a freelance photographer and web designer in Vancouver.
  Joel Bentley   Joel Bentley is the Managing Editor of This Great Society. He lives in Vancouver with his new bride and an apartment full of books. @joeldbentley  
  Kristin Fryer   Kristin Fryer is Copy Editor at This Great Society. She has recently completed an M.A. in philosophy and literature at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. She tweets about writing, editing, and publishing trends at @KristinFryer.  
  Laura Breukelman   Laura Breukelman is a visual artist living in Vancouver. Besides making messes in the studio she also loves teaching. She has studied at the Alberta College of Art, Mount Saint Vincent University, Glasgow School of Art, and recently graduated from Regent College.  
  Lilith Yacub   Lilith Yacub is a photographer who lives in Vancouver, BC. She has earned a BFA from Emily Carr University, written for ONLY magazine and exhibited both locally and in Seattle. Her work finds humour in the sublime, absurd and macabre theatre of life.  
  Linette Schut   Linette Schut is Chief Copy Editor at This Great Society. She is a support worker with an Honours Psychology degree from Trinity Western University. She lives in Vancouver where she enjoys exploring new yarn shops to perpetuate her knitting addiction. She blogs at  
  Linnea McNally   Linnea McNally is Nonfiction Editor at This Great Society. Equipped with an MA in English (SFU), she is currently earning her BEd. Linnea co-founded TWU's [spaces] and has published in journals like Cirque and Ampersand. She also researches dead ladies for The Canadian Writing Research Collaboratory.  
  Mark Gunderson   Mark Gunderson lives in Portland, OR. He earned a BA in Fine Arts and Art History from Portland State University and an MAT from George Fox University. He loves spending time with his wife and four kids who constantly inspire his art. markjamesgunderson.blogspot  
  Miranda Boire   Miranda Boire is a self-taught artist originally from small town Ontario. Her artistic experience ranges from glassblowing to fronting bands. Currently she dabbles in drawing, sculpture, and music. Her charcoal/pencil sketches have been her most well-received work. To commission Miranda, write  
  P. Roch Smith   P. Roch Smith grew up in Victoria, BC and currently lives in Toronto. His obsession with sports and 1970s era GI Joe figures anchors his sculptural investigations into identity, memory, and play. His men’s hockey team won their league championship this year.  
  Rob Borås   Rob Borås creates work influenced by his interests in sacred geometry, theoretical physics, and sensory deprivation. He spends most of his time reading, and performing his original compositions.  
  Sarah Haxby   Sarah Haxby holds a Masters in Fine Art and Art History and has an interest in imagery re-use, past and present. Current projects include developing her MA thesis into a book and creating a textile series on Canadian identity. For more information go to  
  Sarawut Chutiwongpeti   Sarawut Chutiwongpeti is a Bangkok-based video and mixed media installation artist. He graduated from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at Chulalongkorn University in 1996. Since graduation, he has contributed to the development of the media arts through his artistic and research practice at a variety international institutions.  
  Shari-Anne Vis   Shari-Anne Vis received a BFA from the Ontario College of Art and Design, spending a year studying Renaissance painting in Florence, Italy. She has exhibited in Toronto, Germany, and Italy, as well as Vancouver, where she lives with her husband and son.  
  Veronica Collins   Veronica Collins is Editor-in-Chief of This Great Society. She is a writer, an editor, and very occasionally an artist. In addition to her freelance work, Veronica is a communications professional who works in Vancouver, BC.  
  Victoria Kloch   Victoria Kloch was born in the Bay Area of California, and currently lives high in the foothills up north. As an artist and founder of the new online art community, she is involved with fine artists from all over the world.  
  Will Jameson   Will Jameson is Poetry Editor and Development Manager at This Great Society. He holds a degree in creative writing from the University of Washington in Seattle. When he is not fundraising or grant writing, he tries to put poetry and fiction on paper.  
  Zadie Xa   Zadie Xais a Canadian visual artist whose work explores race, fantasy and nostalgia. Utilizing themes and formal sensibilities found within 19th century European painting, Xa’s recent pictures examine clichéd ethnic stereotypes perpetuated in Western history and contemporary popular culture. She lives and works in Madrid, Spain.
