  Adam Grant Warren   Adam Grant Warren was born and raised in Newfoundland, where he began his writing career as a columnist for the CBC Morning Show. He moved west to study at Vancouver Film School, where he now teaches a nebulously titled course in Writing With Style.  
  Alicia Gonzalez   Alicia Gonzalez graduated with a B.Sc. in Nursing. She is currently living in historical Fort Langley and works as a Diabetes Nurse Educator. She has an appreciation for all things art and in her spare time enjoys photography, coffee shops, outdoor adventures and good books.  
  Andre Zucker   Andre Zucker was born in the Bronx, NY. He is seeking publication for first novel Generation, which takes place during the Ukrainian economic collapse. Andre now lives in Antwerp, Belgium where he works as an ESL teacher.  
  Anthony Jones   Anthony Jones is a writer and high school basketball coach living in Brooklyn. His work has appeared in The Montreal Review, The Furnace Review, Poetry Quarterly, PANK Magazine, WORK Literary Magazine, Storychord, Miracle Monocle, The Write Room, and Westwind.  
  Chris Nikkel   Chris Nikkel splits his time between Winnipeg and Ireland. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. He also writes nonfiction and works as documentary film writer/researcher. His first book of poems is forthcoming with Ireland's Salmon Poetry.
  Jay Steingold   Jay Steingold studied poetry at the University of Washington. He uses his heavy hand as a bartender, poet, and gentle bouncer. He records some of his writings at and his life at When he is not writing, he divides his time by zero.  
  Jim Boraas   Jim Boraas is Art Director at This Great Society. He has a BFA from Emily Carr University and works as a freelance photographer and web designer in Vancouver.
  Joel Bentley   Joel Bentley is the Managing Editor of This Great Society. He is currently training for the Seattle to Portland Classic bicycle race while raising funds to support World Literacy Canada through his Books & Bicycles project.  
  Laura Breukelman   Laura Breukelman is a visual artist living in Vancouver. Besides making messes in the studio she also loves teaching. She has studied at the Alberta College of Art, Mount Saint Vincent University, Glasgow School of Art, and recently graduated from Regent College.  
  Laura Milligan   Laura Milligan is Blog Editor and Events Manager at This Great Society. She has a Master's in Art History and Curatorial Practice from York University in Ontario. Laura currently lives with her husband in Vancouver BC. Her culinary and cultural finds can be enjoyed at her blog:  
  Lauren Thompson   Lauren Thompson is Promotions Manager and Copy Editor at This Great Society. She is an editor and writer based in the Seattle area. Her work includes journalism, communications, and freelance editing. In her free time, she compiles lists, browses maps, and watches her favorite TV show, Jeopardy!  
  Leah Albertson   Leah Albertson lives in Santa Monica, California, where she works in marketing for the popular TOMS Shoes company. She's a photographer and designer whose favourite medium is a disposable camera. She also loves road trips.  
  Linette Schut   Linette Schut is Chief Copy Editor at This Great Society. She is a support worker with an Honours Psychology degree from Trinity Western University. She lives in Vancouver where she enjoys exploring new yarn shops to perpetuate her knitting addiction.  
  Linnea Elynn McNally   Linnea Elynn McNally is Nonfiction Editor at This Great Society. She is finishing her English MA at SFU, and will celebrate her (possibly temporary) exit from academia with a summer trip to the UK. Her next goal is to publish her first creative collection. Linnea's work has appeared in Cirque, Ampersand, [spaces], and TGS.  
  Lynn Passmore   Lynn Passmore is a University of Guelph graduate with a BAH in English and Studio Art. She has yet to find a career by which to define herself, but is enjoying writing, photography, cooking, and nail painting in the meantime. She lives in Vancouver, BC.  
  P. Roch Smith   P. Roch Smith grew up in Victoria, BC and currently lives in Toronto. His obsession with sports and 1970s era GI Joe figures anchors his sculptural investigations into identity, memory, and play. His men’s hockey team won their league championship this year.  
  Peter Komierowski   Peter Komierowski earned a BFA in Calgary and recently moved to Vancouver where he is pursuing his love for Art and Illustration. Together with his wife, Joyelle, they make up the website  
  Shari-Anne Gibson   Shari-Anne Gibson received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Ontario College of Art and Design, before spending a year studying Renaissance painting in Florence, Italy. She has exhibited in Toronto, Germany, and Italy, and most recently in her new home city of Vancouver.  
  Vanessa Libertad Garcia   Vanessa Libertad Garcia has completed successful projects in both film and literary worlds. Her book The Voting Booth After Dark: Despicable, Embarrassing, Repulsive is garnering laudable reviews. She’s currently in development for her feature film Dear Dios, based on the book’s characters.  
  Veronica Collins   Veronica Collins is Editor-in-Chief of This Great Society. She is a writer, an editor, and very occasionally an artist. In addition to her freelance work, Veronica is a communications professional who works in Vancouver, BC.  
  Will Jameson   Will Jameson is Poetry Editor and Development Manager at This Great Society. He holds a degree in creative writing from the University of Washington in Seattle. When he is not fundraising or grant writing, he tries to put poetry and fiction on paper.  
  Zach Bulick   Zach Bulick is a designer and illustrator living and working in Vancouver, BC. He enjoys tea and company in his Cedar Cottage neighbourhood home. Zach posts things he likes, draws, and makes at:
